Every year in January, I review my collection. This gourd lamp design I name 'The Felicity was one of the designs I made some changes which I believe brought even more charm and elegance to this popular design. The main change is; I doubled the lines that form the frame around the blank sections. This version which I call The Red Felicity is surrounded by red beadwork. There is a purple option which you can find under 'Purple Felicity' heading and the blue option under 'The Felicity heading.
The Felicity is an immediate mood changer and bringer of good vibes and color. The second you turn this gourd lamp on, it will change the entire atmosphere within the room and consecutively strengthen the personality of the environment. The Felicity separates itself from many other gourd lamp designs with her balanced beading work and blank sections. Lately, I see a lot of gourd lamps with a lot of beads on them. This seems to be the current trend in the world of gourd craft but like all trends, that is destined to change as well. I believe this balance on The Felicity makes her a timeless piece.
