I must confess that the creation process of 'A Transition' was a voyage of its own. Unlike most of my designs which involves a lot of thinking, planning, and sketching, 'A Transition' was finished as I drilled along the ideas that came within. In the beginning, I had the idea of the helmet of a spaceman and I ended up with the universe like a background, sacred geometry of the Buddhists on the sides and an attractive drill work on the front laced with sun like figures around the craft. I finished the lamp by adding an elegant drill and shaping work at the head section. I named the lamp 'A Transition' because as you spin the lamp around, you will see that the lamp changes into something else adding diversity to the appearance.

In addition to its characteristics as a handmade lamp, I believe 'A Transition' makes a perfect gift idea for many occasions. She is a unique creation which combines many attractive qualities and a hard to find object which has the powers to impress almost anyone. Once given as a present, I firmly believe that this lamp will become a natural part of the owner's life reminding of the person who gave the lamp as a present almost every evening.
