Evil Eye Third
The best selling gourd lamp from my workshop in 2017 was an evil eye theme design which is a candidate to become an all-time best seller. The success of that light design forced me to develop options and you are looking at the third of its kind, Evil Eye Third.
Like its predecessor, The Evil Eye Third is crafted on a sharp airbrush white background with the touch of blues around the eye sections. On this design, I have used the calabash based gourd as a whole keeping its head section. I have used mixed form deep holes in the upper section lacing all around the neck while keeping the top of the head as it is to strengthen the use as a nightlight. The three evil eyes which circle the main body are crafted with 360 degrees extended straight cuts bringing extra charm and illumination and adding, even more, uniqueness to this gourd lamp.
Although all my lamps make great gifts, the evil eye designs are even more popular which you can consider as a unique handcraft option. I have seen people choose these design as housewarming gifts, wedding gifts as well as birthday and anniversary gifts particularly for those who enjoy boho style and have faith in the charm and protection of the evil eye.
