The Supernatural
The reason I called this gourd lamp design Supernatural is because of the richness and the diversity of the colors that the design possesses. If you scroll through the photos, you will see that the gourd has a black and grey dominant look when unlit under daylight, as well as, gold color painted stripe sections around bizarre and aberrant main theme.
However, the gaps between these unusual figures are filled with red and green beadwork. The second you turn this lamp on, she turns into a colorful object with an entirely contrasting look compared to her unlit state. Someone who sees the lamp for the first time would never predict that this dark looking object would turn into something colorful. The gourd lamp looks cool as it is and looks totally wicked when lit. By experimenting with the light source inside, it is possible to extend the richness of this design. Different wattage, different colors and lights like LEDs will add to the charm of this lampshade.
Gourd lamps make unique gifts. There are not many people who make gourd craft and that's why as a product they are now widely available making these lamps rare and uncommon.
